XenoTech Adds New Drug Transporters to Portfolio

Transporters have become increasingly important in drug development due to the major role they play in absorption, distribution and excretion of endogenous and exogenous compounds. The FDA, EMA and PMDA emphasize the importance of evaluating new drug candidates for transporter-mediated drug-drug interactions (DDI) with a determination of substrate and inhibition potential.

XenoTech features the most extensive selection of drug transporters and assays available in the world. Our Drug Transport Research Services include the full range of FDA/EMA required drug transporters as well as less common transporters that may also play an important role for your compounds. Newly added transporters include ENT4, CNT1, CNT2, CNT3, GLUT1 and GLUT2.

If you are performing your own research, we also offer multiple test systems for the major drug transporters, including transporter-certified and numerous other hepatocytes, to determine if compounds are substrates or inhibitors of clinically-relevant transporters. View our Guide to Selecting In Vitro Test Systems for guidance on which is the best choice for your studies.
