Holiday CSR Activities

XenoTech understands that a better future starts with our actions today, and encourages its global family to remain focused on contributing to society through our business activities. This includes a commitment to environmental stewardship, our customers, diversity in human resources and giving back to our communities. This holiday season, XenoTech employees participated in numerous efforts, including a Harvesters Food Drive, Angel Tree and volunteer work.

In late November, our Program Oversight team assisted with the setup of the Rose Brooks Holiday Store at Ward Parkway Shopping Center. The Rose Brooks Center provides a safe place for individuals and pets who need emergency shelter to escape life-threatening abuse, as well as support services and resources.

Their Holiday Store collects new, unwrapped gifts which are given directly to the families receiving services. The store helps create a special holiday season, even during crisis, and empowers families to celebrate their lives together with a bright, safe future. During much of November and December, XenoTech employees filled barrels that were placed around our facility with a variety of food items to help those in our community who struggle to afford enough groceries for even a simple holiday meal. Then on December 12th, our Analytical Services team volunteered at Harvesters Food Bank in Kansas City by helping sort and repackage donated food.

2018 Harvesters Food Bank

Harvesters serves 141,500 people in 26 counties throughout northwestern Missouri and northeastern Kansas each month. To learn more about Harvesters and how you can help, visit www.harvesters.org.

For our annual Salvation Army Angel Tree, employees bought wish list items for 85 local boys and girls in the Kansas City Metro area. This is a holiday tradition that we look forward to every year! Employees are always eager to put up the tree and receive angels to buy gifts for. The Salvation Army assists over 60,000 people every day. 2018 Ronald McDonald House

On December 17th, our Business Development team cooked and served breakfast for families staying at the Ronald McDonald House at Children’s Mercy Hospital. Ronald McDonald House Charities of Kansas City provide a temporary home for families who have children receiving treatment for critical illness or injury. To learn more, visit www.rmhckc.org.
