Small Molecule Bioanalysis Services to Support Drug Development

Our Analytical Services department offers non-regulated small molecule bioanalysis services to determine accurate measurement of parent drug and/or metabolite concentration in various biological matrices to support ADME (absorption, distribution, metabolism, and excretion), DMPK (drug metabolism and pharmacokinetics), and DDI (drug-drug interaction) studies in drug development.

Our Approach to Bioanalysis

Bioanalysis is a sub-discipline of analytical chemistry providing a quantitative measurement of a drug and/or its metabolite(s) in various biological matrices. The SEKISUI XenoTech Analytical Services department has over 100 years of combined experience with pharma and CROs spanning multiple disciplines including in vivo bioanalytical support. Our team of experts can provide quality, non-GLP results in 2-4 business days.

Small molecule bioanalysis can quantify parent drug and metabolites in blood, urine, plasma, and feces

Our Small Molecule Bioanalytical Capabilities

  • Protein precipitation extraction (standard approach)
  • Matrices include plasma, serum, blood and urine and tissue samples
  • Development of single or multiple analyte methods to support parent and metabolite(s) analysis or cassette analysis
  • Method qualification (optional)
  • Duplicate standard curves (bracketed samples)
  • Flexible standard curve ranges up to 5000-fold (modify as needed)
  • Sample analysis by LC-MS/MS
  • Excel summary of deliverables
  • Electronic data summary outlining analytical method and sample preparation, calibration curve and calculated sample concentrations
  • Rapid turnaround times
