Contains a nutrient-rich media used in thawing cryopreserved cells. The CryostaX Hepatocyte Thawing Kit makes it easy to achieve maximum viability and cell yield for each hepatocyte lot. The kit includes cell culture media optimized for thawing cryopreserved hepatocytes plus solution for determining cell yield and viability counts. OptiIncubate is now CryostaX Hepatocyte Incubation Medium

Recommended for both fresh and cryopreserved hepatocyte suspension incubations.

OptiPlate is now CryostaX Hepatocyte Plating Medium

Used when plating attachable cryopreserved human, Beagle dog, Cynomolgus monkey, CD1 mouse, Sprague-Dawley rat hepatocytes, etc. It is necessary to re-suspend the cell pellet in CryostaX Hepatocyte Plating Medium before seeding the cells onto culture dishes as it facilitates hepatocyte attachment efficiency post-thaw. OptiCulture is now CryostaX Hepatocyte Culture Medium

Recommended for maintaining attachment, viability, and monolayer confluency of plated cryopreserved human, Beagle dog, Cynomolgus monkey, CD1 mouse, Sprague-Dawley rat cultured hepatocytes, as well as fresh plated hepatocytes. This media is recommended for feeding and dosing of cultured hepatocytes.

OptiMatrix is now CryostaX Hepatocyte Culture Matrix

A convenient hepatocyte overlay matrix that greatly enhances hepatocyte culture functions. The use of CryostaX Hepatocyte Culture Matrix helps to increase confluency, preserve the viability of hepatocyte cultures, as well as maintain the hepatocytes’ normal cuboidal appearance, and well-delineated plasma membrane borders. It also assists in the formation of intact canalicular networks and improved excretory function.
